A notepad that is always one tab away
Sometimes you just need somewhere to paste a phone number, draft a message, keep a to-do list or collect links, without opening an app or signing in. This notepad saves every change automatically in your browser's local storage, a small private storage area that belongs to this website on your device. Close the tab, restart the computer, come back next week: your notes are still here, in the same browser on the same device. There is no account, and the text is never sent to a server.

Important limits of browser storage
Because notes live only in this browser, they do not sync between your phone and computer, and private or incognito windows delete them when closed. Clearing your browsing data or site data for this website also erases them, and some browsers clear storage for sites you have not visited for a long time. For anything important, press Download .txt now and then to keep a real file. Anyone who uses the same browser profile can open the page and read your notes, so do not store passwords or confidential information here; use a password manager instead.
Privacy
The site never receives your notes. The only copy is in your browser's storage on your device, and Delete note removes it permanently.
