Crop photos without uploading them
Most online croppers upload your photo to a server. This one works entirely in your browser: the picture is decoded on your device, you choose the crop area on a preview, and the final image is cut from the original full-resolution pixels using the browser's canvas. That keeps private photos private and makes cropping instant even for large camera images.
Ratios for every platform
Social networks and websites expect specific shapes. Square 1:1 is used for profile pictures and classic Instagram posts, 4:5 for taller Instagram portraits, 9:16 for Stories, Reels, TikTok and YouTube Shorts, 16:9 for YouTube thumbnails, presentations and widescreen video, 3:2 and 4:3 for prints and many cameras, and 3:1 for X header images. Pick a ratio and the crop box keeps that shape while you move and resize it, so the result is exactly right. “Original” keeps the photo's own proportions, useful when you only want to trim the edges.
Precise control
Dragging is quick, but sometimes you need exact numbers, for example a 1200 × 630 image for a website preview. The X, Y, width and height boxes show the crop in original pixels and can be edited directly. Output width resizes the cropped area when saving, with the height following the ratio; leave it blank to keep every original pixel. The rule-of-thirds grid inside the box helps place faces and horizons.
Rotate, flip and formats
Rotate turns sideways phone photos upright in 90° steps, and flip mirrors selfies or scanned documents. Save as PNG for screenshots, logos and graphics with transparency, JPG for photos at a small size (transparent areas become white), or WebP for the web at an even smaller size. Saved files do not include the original's location and camera metadata, which is a privacy bonus when you share photos online.
